### Chapter 1: 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Welcome to my book SAFE PLACE. I hope you enjoy it. I write for fun. I'm definitely not a professional writer. English is not my first language, so as Adele said, go easy on me. And the writing is going to be simple. 🙃 This is a Mafia book and I definitely do not want to glamorise or romanticise them in any shape or form. Have in mind this is purely fiction. Even though it is a mafia book, it will be more focused on the relationship between the main characters. I do not own any of the pictures. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• TROPES : - Mafia romance - marriage of convenience (kind of forced) - grumpy/sunshine - age gap - single parent - obsessed MMC •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ELSIE DARLINGTON 26 years old FENIX CAROLINGIAN 35 years old ENJOY AND DON'T FORGET TO VOTE AND COMMENT!! 🫶 🤍
